N - Islam has no monopoly on violent and oppressive histories.

"There definitely needs to be some element of control that stops business from selling parts to countries that are known to have a violent history."

N - A recently violent history? How would you rate Japan? Germany? Our new found friend China?

"As far as the issues of bombing these countries I will be honest and say that I am torn. 50% of me says that enough is enough and we should eradicate the source of 2000+ years worth of war. One big swoop, take all the war/hate mongoring countries out. If they do not exist then there will be no chance of a ressurgence of power by them."

N - Ok, if all war/hate mongering countries are eliminated, I hope you've got an excellent relocation plan for the moon. And what nationalities would you allow on your ark? Glass houses...

"Of course my concious [sic] tells me that thousands upon thousands will die that are innocent. Frankly I would be happy about that in regards to those which I saw dancing in the streets on the videos from BBC. Or the partying in the streets that was reported by NPR in there talk with the prime minister of Isreal. Partying!! Sorry it angers me to think about this and my first reaction is "Blow em all back to allah!"

N - To use a few recent examples, does anyone remember the applause rippling through the bar when they showed us bombing Kuwait? America danced, (__), and some gloat when gays die of AIDS considering it God's punishment. And others kill those that support abortion. Shall I judge all Christians by these actions? Or perhaps all Americans? With the right lighting, and a few newsclips, who would celebrate my death?

"On a more peaceable retort, I believe this should be treated as if Hitler was alive again. This evil (not bin laden directly, though that man needs to die a painful death, he is a pawn) needs to be stopped once and for all. We need to take away everything they have and treat them like the children that they are. If you are handed "toys" that require responsibility, and you are not mature enough to handle them. Then like any parent would do, they "toy" should be taken away and the child; punished. By child I mean the governments. The people are mearly being brainwashed by there leaders. A child teaching another child there version of right and wrong.

What should we do? Personally I think we need to cut them off from everything. Take away there money, take away there power, communications, satelites. Instill a form a paralysis from the world."

N - You cannot take away what they do not have. You can't bomb them beyond the stone age they currently live in. People are more easily incited to war in times of economic despair -- please look at what Hitler said to inspire the support of the Germans. If censorship continues to be encouraged in this country (through marketing-inspired fears) America could easily become corrupt. Our claim to adulthood and righteousness is tenuous at best, beyond the immediate tragedy.

"Walk in and appoint a new leader and forceable see it through."

N - Like we assisted in appointing Saddam Hussein?

"If that requires some death and bloodshed, then those are the pitfalls of war. "

N - Hmmm, wonder how you say that in Arabic?

"But as any "civilized" country would do, minimize the damage to the innoccent civilians. exile the proponents(current government officials) to this way of warlike life. As bad as it may sound you have to look at the positive effects it eventually had on germany.

Time will heal all wounds, it won't ride of us the memories, but it can stand as a reminder to people that freedom and peace have a price. The Arabic govts in my opinion use the Islamic religious structure to fuel the fire of the people. It's time to cut off the supply lines."

N - "One nation, under God." Which one?

"Dropping food on them? What a laughing stock we would become to them. These are a different people with a different way of life The children are raised to give there life in the form of suicide as bomb carriers and terrorist. They are born with thier parent teaching them fear and hate. This is the problem!! Dropping food on them will not help with the instilled instincts that have been placed on them. They do not think as we do."

N - That's what Americans have said about Native Americans, African-Americans,Japanese, homosexuals,any group threatening the current power structure, and we support this bigotry with laws. Hitler used such rhetoric quite effectively. The Nazis weren't the only ones to shove Jews in trains. Please reconsider.
