We keep following every news about the attacks on New York and Washington. And it feels thatĄs we are under attack: not physical, but mental. Evereywere you go, everyone you meet - we all talk about what has happend, why and what will happen next.

Today EU had declared three silent minutes between 12.00 and 12.03. You know how it can be in a newsroom, but this time the hole staff showed up and it was really three very silent minutes. I feel kind of cripled, I canĄt express the deep feelings we have for you and the american people. ItĄs a very great feeling - and in the same time somewhat frightning. If you think how easy this could turn to hate towards some enemy you donĄt yet know who it is.

Today I talked to the muslim community in ÷rebro. They are scared. People yell at them on the streets, the women with covers over their face (what do you call that?) is harassed. All because this bin Ladin who calls him self muslim. What about the persons who call them self christians and kill children in Northern Ireland? And Sharon who use the oppurtunity to increase the war against the palestinians? ItĄs not all white and black.

Yesterday a read a column in the biggest newspaper in Sweden who said something that i felt was very accurat: Today we all are americans. Yes, thats how we feel. We all have the same enemy, blind terrorists, but we canĄt shoot blind into communitys and religios groups.

Two weeks ago Aron, my son, got 18 years old. To celibrate that, I and Aron are going on a holiday 15 october. The idea of flying isnĄt that intresting these days, but aside of that I look forward to go to Italy, Greece or some nice place and just rest for a week: eat good, look around and get to know my son who has become a man.
