Thank you for putting your thoughts and perspective together and sending them along.

This week has been for me one of prayer and sadness. I pray for peace, for each of us to find ways to become symbols of peace and wisdom in this dilemma and throughout our lives.. I trust our leaders are doing so in finding a way to eliminate terrorism. I fear in our American naivete that we are not very realistic about the real world. You have witnessed our British friends deal with these issues in a very real and ongoing way. Most Americans have no sense of the rest of the world. We have lost our innocence.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for sharing yours.

Please pray for Dick, Janet and Kate's safety in Islamabad. I am concerned and hope they will leave very soon. As Jamie said in last nites email; "They are targets."
