Here's my response to this situation. I want retribution, but I want the common citizen like you & me to do it. This was an attack againts what our very government stands for and was created for. Look at any $1 dollar bill. On the back, around the pyramid, you'll see the words - Novus Ordo Seclorum - which mean a new secular order.

The US was founded to be the great experiment in a new secular state, one that no longer had to fear retribution from the Church because pursuing the study of science was considered witchcraft or blasphemy. Our democracy was founded to so that people could live as they choose without the government telling them what they could think, say, not think, and not study. Canada was originally referred to as Arkadia, which was the fabled utopian land where people were free.

Novus Ordo Seclorum was put on our currency so that we never forget the ideal that we stand for.

You any any other tech people in the world have the skills, the talents and the ability to launch a worldwide hacker initiative. We know that Afganistan & Pakistan are participatory, either explicitly or passively implicit with $$ & nods of approval. Make them pay. Their terrorism training makes no distinction between black, white, asian, male, female, gay, straight, old or young, Christian, Jew, Gentile or "other." They have said that civilian & military infidel are one in their eyes. To them - we are Westerner's, Americans, infidels, a blight on their religious faith and all that they hold sacred. That's why it's a Jihad. Well - bullshit. They need to grow the fuck up. For the last 2000 years, it's been the same story. And I really doubt that Allah would approve wholesale slaughter, anymore than Jesus would approve of nuking Afganistan in retaliation.

Here's my message. Send it out if you feel like.

Hackers, programmers, database experts of the world unit against terrorism. Direct your skills towards Afghanistan, Pakistan and whomever else is a terrorist war-mongering harboring asshole. Send a message that is louder, stronger and more clear than any goverment censure or retaliation.

The mission?

To cause as much disruption as possible - drain bank accounts and distribute the money into millions of private bank accounts world wide - satellite disruptions, communication disruptions, turn off power grids - wipe out databases, send false information, shut down ANYTHING - but the point is - since their attack was a civilian target, a "symbol" of western trading, culture, technology, then let the civilians who have benefited from that culture, trading & technology, turn the technology on them.

Let the civilians of the world exact retribution. A million (or more) world-wide civilian hackers attaching their computer and communication infrastructues will send a stronger msg than the US government could by nuking Kabul. A million far-flung civilians hackers spreding computer viruses, tampering with their government information systems is a clear msg to the Islamic and Muslim fundamentalists that what they did was wrong & will not be tolerated by any civilian with a consious in any country where people want the freedom to live, work, love and worship God as they choose.

The Muslims and Islamic fundamentalists have been waging a holy war against Christianity and any non-Muslim or Islamic religion since Christ. It's been 2000 years. It's time they grew up and kept their hate and intolerance to themselves.

And a million world-wide civilian hackers do NOT represent a retaliatory target, but DO represent judgement on a far grander scale than opinions expressed by any one government.

It's simplistically perfect.
