This is a very simple site. The primary objective here is to show off Brendan's artwork in an uncluttered way. Neutral backgrounds, and a stable, consistent set of navigational rules allow the user to go from section to section easily. In the painting sections, sequential presentation of paintings of like subject matter is preferred by art departments doing the portfolio review. |

I decided to inhibit the user from jumping around, preferring to have them click through the portfolio sequentially instead. At lower right is a single frame from a strip entitled "Eightball" from Brendan's site. |
